Q. Do you require a deposit?
A. We do require a non-refundable deposit for all weddings. Please speak with your catering manager for further details.
Q. What types of linens, napkins and centerpieces are included?
A. White tablecloths and napkins are provided. Skirting will be done in white for all weddings. We are able to provide a square mirror and three votives per table to enhance any centerpiece you choose.
Q. How early will the ballroom be available to set up the day of the wedding?
A. The ballroom is normally ready for your decorator, florist, band or DJ to set up an average of two hours prior to the reception. Please discuss specific times with your catering manager.
Q. May we offer a choice of two entrees to our guests?
A. Yes, however there will be an additional charge. We do ask that you identify on your place cards which entree each guest has selected. Some brides have used various colors or stickers to denote the different entree selections on their placecards.
Q. Can we bring in our own wedding cake? Are we allowed to bring in food and beverage items?
A. Yes, you can bring in your own wedding cake and we will cut and serve it at no additional charge to you.
The Pfister will provide all food and beverage. We take pride in adhering to all Federal, State and Local regulations to ensure proper food preparation and beverage service. Exceptions are sometimes made for certain ethnic items that are typically served at weddings, ie: Homemade cookies for a sweet table for an Italian wedding.
Q. Does the Pfister offer a special guestroom rate for our guests?
A. We do offer a discounted rate for your guests. Speak with your catering manager, as rates fluctuate throughout the year.
We also provide one complimentary suite for the bride and groom on the night of the wedding.
Q. Is there a reduced parking rate for our wedding guests?
A. Parking rates may be flexible based on the size of your event and parking space availability. If offered, negotiated rates are available after 6pm and until 1am. Overnight "self" parking is $25 per day.
Q. Do you hold ceremonies in the hotel?
A. Wedding ceremonies can be held at the Pfister Hotel. Prices and times will vary. A catering manager can provide further details.
